You have read my praise and seen the build up pics of the 1320 "Diggers" vintage rail dragsters. RUN , don't walk to your nearest store ( I got mine at Target) and buy the two that have been released. They are DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! The pre built Hemi power plant is worth every penny of your $20.
These are simply kit forms of the beautiful pre built versions at one third the cost if you don't mind building it yourself.
BUT while your there, think long and hard before you drop the coin on the new 1320 "Floopers". These are so "dumbed" down for the retail market they are just sad! Unlike the rails, they have NOTHING in common with the hobby kits save the beautiful detailed tires and wheels and diecast body. I'm not sure the tampo printing is as good either, the printing just looks somehow cheap. At $20, this curbside only model leaves a lot to be desired. So follow your heart.
I love that 1 Badd Ride is keeping this line alive, as 1320 is probably the finest 1:24 vintage drag diecast in the world! But as thrilled as I was with the rails, the funny cars just fell so short in these new retail kits. Even the printed bio on the back is funny thanks to the poor translation into english. Just a heads up.
