Are we roped into using what they sell on their site for balancers?

I got a equinox balancer and it does not fit the plugs?

New to lipo somewhat and the balancing thing.

Nope, not roped into anything. I got a balancer the works for me and the stuff I use, but I have noted.

There are various pigtail adapters for the balancers! 2S, 3S were included with my balancer and 4 to 7S adapters are sold as sccessory items.

Balancers are also for or can be for one specific type of battery 2S, 3S, 4S, 5S and 6S or can be inclusive.

Reading the instructions, I find that there is 7 pin connection at the LBA and the 2 to 4S batteries have a 5 pin connection to the battery. A 7 pin connector for the 5 and 6S batteries.

It appears that one size doesn't fit all!

This is what I have and the plus on the ends do not match the maxamps or integy pack I have.

Looks like I will try something else.

That is the problem with Lipo and chargers right now. There isn't any standard's.

Try this link (http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6274218/anchors_6274218/mpage_1/key_ElectriFly/anchor/tm.htm#6274218), if it doesn't answer your question then go to this link (http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_449/tt.htm) and ask there. Correct me if I'm wrong....

Can't you cut the plug off and solder a new plug that will work??

Why do you need a balancer if you can charge/discharge each cell individualy.
