Hope to see you guys over here...we will have TIME TRIALS to set up the heats...then 2 heats and 1 main...the faster car in TIME TRIALS will be locked in the A-MAIN!

we will be racing 3 classes....

sportsman
(KASCAR rules with 540 "mabushi type" motors)


27turn stock class
(basic GRCSR rules)

and newly formed

open19t-brushless 10.5 class
(simple rule, 40oz 4cell 4200mah 3mm chassis height...thats it...no body height rule...no fuss...real racers)

start time is 8pm(time trials)
9pm(first qual)
10pm(2nd qual)
11pm(mains)

PLAN on your week-end...Plattsburg is having there 1st annual Autumn blast the day after(nov 24th)...both tracks are less than 90 min apart...go up north...and have FUN!

this track is awsome. very fast racing everytime i go there. im sure racing brushless on there is gonna be awsome. lots of place to pit also. and a pretty full hobby shop. i might be attending this race

Anyone that hasn't been to this track owes themselves a visit. I hope I can find a way to get out of work earlier to attend this race. Friday nights aren't good for me though.

eric, is it 10.5 b/l racing or 13.5. i have heard that 10.5 is faster than 19 turn. just checking

Apparently 10.5 and 19t are pretty equal. I know they run 10.5's mixed in with Ultrabirds.

oh ok than just checking. just heard some things. maybe ill get a system to race that.

I think there are a few of us that will be running 19 turn/10.5 as we will probobly save our stock cars for the next day at Plattsburgh. Should be fun.

There's 17.5 racing going this weekend at RCH for the NEOT...come on down!

no one tried it so far neil....you know what...let me go trough tonights racin'....and we might let the 17.5 racers run in the stock class...i'll let you know tomorrow(here)

for the ones that would want to race there 17.5...in the stock 4cell class(Kascar)...its a GO...those 17.5 are invited to rub against the brushed cars...this will be a try out...in the possible junction of those classes...

should be a fun weekend. watch martin paradis run his 10.5 against eric and steves 19 turns and it was pretty close. if martins car wasnt so tight, he probably would have done better. track is perfect for the brushless systems.

ALSO guys...17.5BL will be allowed as a test combine in the KASCAR stock class...bring those down!

as a reminder...there will be TIME TRIALS at 8PM...random heats will be posted...and you'll have to show up on the track with you heat...and cars will go 1 after another for 3 laps...best laps is saved....The faster car in each class will have a garanteed spot in the A...results from time trials will setup the heats for 2 rounds of qualifiers...

5 cars locked in the A(including faster time trialers)

also ..the winner of the B-main will bump to the 6th A-main starting position...

1st round of qualifier(4min) @ 9PM
2nd round of qualifier(4min) @ 10PM
MAINS (B-main runs first) @10PM

Did I mention I'm sorry I can't make it? I'm beating myself upside the head! Wow that seems like a really well run show. I mean, no more debating over stacking vs no stacking up the heats. Each guy really gets to race his equivalent opponent after time trials. Done it at the Can Am in Granby in the past after your brother suggested it and I really think all big races oughta be set up that way.

It's too bad the Snowbird's don't use that format.

I think it's IDEAL for only Big races.... :thumbsup:

what are the motor rules for the 19t class, komodo's, open arcor or cam2 only

the rule is simple....open 19T...or 10.5 novak BL....19t=as long as there is 19t armature...i've been runnin a ultrabird with great results(won the last two)...but Martin Paradis 10.5 is closing the gap...tomorrow i'll be runnin a 10.5 novak with a R1 tekin esc

Any 19 turn, no swapping components if I remember right

swap is allowed Pat...any 19t config! this is to help a little the 19...wich normally should be a tick slower than a 10.5
