A medicine bottle looking Coca-Cola???

Yes, I seen it. Right there on Coca-Cola venders rack at Wal*Mart. Big as day looking like a medicine bottle full of cough syrup (yew). Well, having caught my eye, I picked it up and sure enough it was labeled (embossed) Property of Coca-Cola Bottling Co; 9.3 FL OZ (275 ml) No Refill. And to top it off, a plain red bottle cap labeled Coca-Cola.

Have you seen them yet? There is only a hand full on the 'bay. Being a Coca-Cola collector and all, I grabbed two six-packs.

Oh, did I mention these medicine looking bottles are actually replicas or CIRCA LIMITED 1899 EDITION BOTTLES.

You guessed it right again, here are some borrowed pics and some pics I made so you could get a proper view of what it is that I am talking about, enjoy olesarge90/Gill

Nice shot, I have several bottles from way-back. My day was working for Wichita Falls (TX) Coca-Cola Bottling Company when he met my mom back in the mid 40s. I also have a picture that he had made of my grandmother and him standing along side of his delivery truck. One day, I plan on trying to be it ID'd so that I will know just what it was. Anyway, thanks for looking and thanks for your reply, olesarge90/Gill

I just realized that I have a 12 fl. oz. Pepsi Fountain Syrup bottle (it's still unopened) in a display cabinet Gill. I think it's from the 50's.

There are Coca-Cola collectors that collect bottles from the various Coca-Cola bottling plants. Don't quote me on this, but I think there were 1000+ bottling plants over the years.

Here's the 12 fl. oz. Pepsi Fountain Syrup bottle silverx3. I think it's about 50 years old. It was bottled in Pittsburgh, PA.

I have a bunch of 6 packs of Coke (bottles) commemorating the 1970's Big Red Machine (Cincinnati Reds) if anyone is interested in them.

They are still in the commemorative cardboard six pack container with the pop still in the bottle.

My dad has a working coke machine from the 1950's at his shop. Customers get a classic coke for only a dime. although we technically lose money on it (bottles cost around 43 cents sell them for 10) the customers love them. One time there was a guy with a trench coat that bought like 30. Now its only 1 per customer. My dad wasnt to happy bout that  I'll get a pic next time im up there
