Howdy all...

I recently decided to collect diecast models of all the cars I have ever owned. This could be a challange.

I am new to this and do have a question. I am trying to locate a 1/18 or 1/24-25 Diecast GMC/Chevy Topkick/Kodiak truck. A mid 1980's style C5500 or C6500 would be what I need. I am looking for a rollback in this scale, but they all seem to be International, Mack, etc.
The truck does not need to be a rollback as long as it has the right cab. I could buy one of the other models and swap out the rollback. I am trying to find/bulid one for a friend of mine. Thanks in advance for your help.

This is the closest thing I can think of. Its a 88-9? body style. It is a plastic kit so you could use any 1/25 scale kit (Revell had a few) for the cab and modify the front fenders. And it would be easy to do the roll back portion.

I've seen it in a few different colors than besides this scheme. This is the only example of what you're looking for that I've ever seen. I wish it was 1:18, I'd own it but the scale is just a little off, I collect all 1:18. Hope that helps.

I just bought a 67 GTO on Ebay and a TR6 from Ebay express. The GTO is ERTL and the TR6 is Schuco (I think). It was the only one I have seen with the soft top. Both 1:18.

Collection is growing. :thumbsup:
