Paid some of my State Farm Insurance premiums today and picked up this pretty nice '69 Mustang Boss 429 from my agent. It is not quite 1:43 scale, rather it is 1:38 scale diecast. The manufacturer is Crown Premiums and of course it is made in China. For a Mustang purist, the white stripe and State Farm logos could be easily removed. I think I will just leave it the way I got it. Two more photos, closed and opened up, follow. It is a decent model and the price was right.

Thanks for sharing ranchero. I think the tampos should be left on.
Was the car given to you, or did you have to buy it? If you had to purchase it......what was the price?

It was free but I figure that with all the insurance premiums I've paid over the years without ever making a claim, it really cost me quite a lot.

It was nice that your car insurance agent gave you the diecast Mustang. The only thing that I ever got from my car insurance agent was a calendar. :p

I never even got a calendar from my ins. company.:-( But at 45 dollars a month for insurance on 2 cars, I can't complain. I don't really like to have any run-ins with the insurance company than I have to.

Paid my state farm office a visit yesterday. They had not ordered any. The office lady looked them up on the state farm site. They were sold to the agents from sometime in june till sometime in july. $300.00 per case. I did not see how many per case. The lady said she would check with other agents and call me if she came up with one. I really do not expect a call. Nice mustang.
