It seems there is a new maker of 1/64 scale models, Targa.
Their Skylines look very nice, with opening hoods and quite some engine details.

What are the '70s ones, a Mazda and a Toyota? They don't look like 1;1 cars that were
imported to the US. They must have been blisteringly fast whith those straight 6's!!!

All of the cars in the picture are Nissan Skline GT-R's. In the top picture, silver and orange are the 1st generation, red and white are the 2nd generation ones. No Skylines have ever been imported into the US officially yet. New one is coming here though.

The R32 looks a lot better than Kyosho's recent effort in 1:43.

The Skyline in the top picture-front right looks just like the Tamiya 1/64 version, it's the same color,has opening doors but fixed hood(bonnet).
