I was at the Walmart in Winchester/Dechers, TN, today and there they were, most of the first run of the new Muscle Machines, including one of the five car sets. I unfortunately was unable to purchase any of these at the time, but I can assure you, they were there. So, to answer one of the previous posts YES I HAVE SEEN THE MOTHERLOAD :woohoo: . in case you don't know where Winchester TN is, just look in the dictionary for the definition of the middle of nowhere and you will probably see it listed :jest: (Just kidding).
But seriously, they are out there, so keep looking

The website says this first release is a Walmart exclusive. I saw them tonight! Only bought one of the six hangin'. I will go back again to see if they put out more on the one peg they had. Good luck!

Here it is 6 weeks later and my local Wal Marts still have not stocked these new MM. I saw (and bought) 2 of them at one of the stores but they have never appeared there again and never showed up at any of the other locations. Are these things warming the pegs where you guys live?

The word is that the ACTION, and Motorsports Authentics names are seen by Wal~Mart as NASCAR, & sales are big in the South for those :rolleyes:

A few stores out here have gotten a small amount of cars, but We aren't seeing many stores who have even made peg space for them. I got the first 8 cars from help of other collectors, in other areas ... It looks as if I will try and play catch up later on to get My cars. I won't be wasting anymore time going to Wal-Mart here in Southern California. After the 6 months are over, maybe You will see cars on-line with a few Hobby Dealers who sold them before, or they may be sold in some of the other big stores like K-Mart, Target, or Toys-R-Us ??? Right now it is only with Wal~Mart, = as they have the Exclusive rights on the Re-Launch. Although it seemed to be a good thing at the start, & the cars are AWESOME . . . I have felt a bit of disappointment about all of it, with Hot Wheels buying up what little there is = only to see them selling on e~bay for 10 times the amount. This would not bother me if it wasn't for people buying 'Um who never really liked them in the 1st place. FOR GOD SAKES MAN, GET A JOB !!! If Your 45 yrs. old MOVE OUT OF MOMS HOUSE !!! :roll:

I actually found three more at Walmart yesterday. Picked up the red/wht Victoria, black Pesky Poncho, and gold 55 chevy. Left a Cougar and a Camaro hanging. I am waiting to find the Trans Am Cougar and 2 or 3 others from "Series 1." Patience.

I saw these this weekend and was very surprised at what I saw. I bought the red '32 Ford with the flathead in it. Very cool. i'm going to have to pick up a few more of these.

WM's finally stocked a few. Got the Trans Am Cougar today. Still need to find about 4 of Series 1.

They seem to be showing up now at least, & that is good news = because Series 2 will be coming out before too long. :woohoo:

Slowly but surely. Yesterday I found the 32 Ford Roadster with the #32 on the side. Out of the eight cars that I wanted from Series 1, that makes 7. Now I just need to find the one Cameo version I want and I'll be done.

What's happened to Series 2? Why no announcements, nothing on the web site? I signed up for the collectors club thing on the web site a long time ago and have never heard anything from them. Seems like they may still be struggling.

series 2, which is not yet up on the MM website, is now showing up on e-bay. not just the five packs either, which have been out for a while, but now the singles too.

Found the second series tonight. The all black T-Bird is the chase car.

I finally had to turn to e-pay to get the last car I wanted from Series 1. I suspect it will be even worse for Series 2. Does anyone know what the production numbers are for these cars.

On my way out to Pennsylvania in April, I picked up some of the series 2 cars. Still need 5 of them, plus, hopefully, a chase T-Bird. But I haven't seen any other series 2 since.

On the way home from vacation today we stopped in a Walmart just off RT 70 in far eastern Ohio and I found two of the Series 2 cars on the pegs. Picked up the blue 62 Vette. Finally the dry spell is over. Wonder how long before I see the next one.

Stopped in at an old K-Mart this afternoon & was surprised to see some Series 2 5-packs on the shelf, but was shocked to see the price was $ 22.99 each!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused::rolleyes:

Aside from the high price on the 5-packs, does this mean that K-Mart will be carrying the new singles as well as Target?
