As you all may have heard, Thunder Road will be closing our doors on November 18th. We lost our lease; so all our recent work and efforts have come to naught. However, we have some great racing planned for the next three weekends; so come and join us while you can.

Need an additional incentive? How about this: Everything, up to and including the paint on the walls, is for sale at 30% off our already low normal prices. Examples? How about a Hyperdrive Pro 3 chassis kit, the good one, for $270.00? Or a Silva conversion kit for $120.00? Or 1:10 scale oval bodies for $10.00?

Wow Ernie, that sucks. I have seen it happen time and time again. It seems that it will happen to most, as long as more people dont come out and support their local tracks. I hope everything turns out well, and God Bless.

Thanks for the note of encouragement. Yes, its sad that we got shut down, just as we were putting the finishing touches on Thunder Road; but life is like that some times. We move on. Everything will be fine. We'll shift hears and move on. We would have been okay, if we hadn't lost the lease; but not all tracks are in such good shape.

Yes, RC racing does seem to be at a crossroads. But, it will survive. People only have so much time, so much energy, and so much money. We need new racers desperately; but we haven't figured out how to attract them. I hope we do, and soon. Good luck in all you do. Thanks; Ernie P. :cool:
