I saw a set of ceramic bearings on windtunnels webpage and I was wondering how hard it is to change them? Any easy tips out there?
Thanks,

Any easy tips out there? Thanks, Fireball Changing the endbell bearing may seem challenging but it is VERY easy. SInce the endbell is aluminum and the bearing is steel (the outside race even on ceramics) expand at different rates. I used a small butane torch or cigarette lighter around the aluminum part to warm it up. It will expand just enough so that you can tap out the old bearing. Make sure the new bearing goes in straight. You may want to heatup the part once more before installing the new bearing. The rear bearing you will have to remove the 3 screws in the back and the rotor to get the old one out. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
