I have a question, how big is the death star supposed to be?be interesting to know, its size.I believe the partially completed one from RTOJ is supposed to be larger than the first.Anybody care to guess how big the spacedock is,that was introduced in Star Trek III.These things look awesome in size,I wonder if their are any available dimensions to them,Guy S.

I don't recall specific stat's ever being given canonically for either, but I think that the Death Star is likely at least 100km in diameter. Spacedock looks to only be roughly 4km in "length".

Yeah, either Death Star is much, much bigger than any puny Federation spacedock.

... but if you recall the Executor smashing into the Death Star ... it's pretty big.

The original Death Star was 120km in diameter.

The second Death Star was 160km in diameter.

These figures come from George Lucas' official Star Wars website.

Interestingly enough, a new novel about the building of the original
Death Star was just published. I got my copy today! :woohoo:

It's too big to be a space station.
