kokorace 11-02-2007, 09:09 PM what time are the doors open? Thanx
MK Race 11-02-2007, 10:14 PM I just got off the phone with Allen and he said doors will open at 10am. That will still give us at least 2 hours of track time. Racing will still start at 1pm. Get there early and we can stand outside and listen how fast Klyber is.
Koko, what motor are you guys going to run? 13.5 or 17.5?
See you Sunday.
crazytony 11-03-2007, 10:36 AM Aaron and I will be there with 17.5 and 13.5

CShearburn 11-03-2007, 08:04 PM Just a reminder for everyone to turn their clocks back tonight. Although I guess it isn't a big deal... you'll just be a little early lol.
CShearburn 11-03-2007, 08:05 PM Oh yea... and there should be a good group of Slider's. I know of at least 6.
MIDWESTRC 11-09-2007, 11:38 PM Any hotel info? Looking for the BRL race. Thanks
ToddFalkowski 11-10-2007, 10:15 AM There's plenty in Springfield, only a few miles away from the track just off I-55, exit 96, maybe?. There is a Comfort Suites within walking distance from the official approved BRL meeting site, Hooters.
MIDWESTRC 11-10-2007, 10:26 AM Thanks

MK Race 11-12-2007, 11:35 PM Is Allen going to run Oval on the night before Thanksgiving? If his is, could he start just a little later so we could come up?
CShearburn 11-13-2007, 10:31 AM I think Thanksgiving week is on-road week, Mike. This week is Oval only. However, I think he has been considering going back to running both every week, but I don't know if he will do it by next week or not. We've been looking at the best way to lay out the tracks so they can be switched easily. The new "white stuff" for the oval makes it harder than it has been in the past, especially when having to tape them down. Plus practice time has been an issue I guess. However, I think by opening at 10 we can still manage to get 1.5 - 2 hours worth of practice for both types of racers. Allen is welcoming input on this so some feedback/ideas would be great. Of course, that doesn't mean he will listen to any of us lol.
Should be some good oval racing this week though (I can't believe I just said that :freak: ). The Slider class should be huge if we get everyone we had last time plus the new ones that just bought them. :woohoo: Those things are fun once you keep them from rolling.
Blues Hockey 11-13-2007, 04:54 PM If he does oval next Wednesday, count on 4 of us from the Quincy area.
Jason
Blues Hockey 11-13-2007, 04:56 PM Pan cars aren't bad either
MK Race 11-13-2007, 08:03 PM Well if Allen doesn't run Oval next week before Thanksgiving, then we will stay and race at Hensley's.
Sonny B 11-13-2007, 08:14 PM Talked with Allen this afternoon and he will run Oval next Wednesday Night.
Allen and I are planing to head to Hensleys this Saturday, then his place on Sunday.
Blues Hockey 11-14-2007, 04:56 PM Cool, thanks for the info about next week Sonny.
