I have a quick question for all.
I am running in my late model class at our local track.
The rules are stock 27turn motor and a 4200mah. The weight limit is 2lbs 8oz

I am trying to find a set up for my RC10L4 pan car that would be good in a small track about 120foot overall that would be fast but be super fast in the turns. Right now i am running this spring combo

Silver on the Left
Blue on the right
Silver in the center

White on the right front
Unknown on the left

Tires

Pink on the rear
Pink on the left ront
Purple on the Right front
Tire size is 2.0 rear 2.1 front

Motor - Black caned Putnam - Green caned putnam- CO27 blue caned
Which is the best to run

Gear ratio now
tire size x Pie (3.14) x Pinion Divided by spur

116 spur 33 pinion - 1.786 ratio

Not shure what everything else like roll out and stuff is

i am running my slider tray one hole up from the farthest back
I am running my reciver in the top 2 trays and my battery in the back

Running a Hagarstown late model body
Running my ESC on the Right side behind the Nerf bar

Wiring

Running my wiring stright to my battery and motor.

Running a JR590Z servo Metal geared
Running the Front blocks to the short wheel base position

Large windtunnel front kingpins and springs
offset shocks
centered tbar
no center screw in tbar
tbar in the left holes

IF you could give me a good set up It would be usefull

...my brain isn't fully working today...but if I look at your gearing correctly you are running a 116/33 gear ratio which would be a ratio of 3.515:1 or just simply 3.51

The "ROLLOUT" would be (based on the 2.00 rear tire size) 1.787

...can't help much on setup using a Dirt Oval body...other than MAKE IT STICK coming off the corners..and work on how quick you can get in the throttle in the corners ...

Make small adjustments and driving line changes..and always get lap times...to see your improvement.

....too much to comprehend? LOL... I read your tire size wrong...(I mentioned my brain wasn't working...) the point I was making was that your GEAR RATIO is not the 1.78 number...that's ROLLOUT. Often people get the two confused.

I use the Silva Chassis conversion which is similar to the L4 except the battery tray allows finer tuning for front or rear bias. With the AE tray you need the 6cell one with battery in the 4 middle slots but doesn't allow much room for placing esc or receiver there. Add the Silva tray and bracket position in 3 or 4 th hole from rear. The only thing that you might want to change first is the tires. Jaco LF-gray, RF-Black, LR-White, RR Gray or White.
Other setting LF- Long Kingpin, 3 spacer with Beefy Teal spring, A arm spacer front and rear for 0 caster, 0-1 (no more than 2) degrees positive camber. Right Front Green Beefy spring, both spacers in front 2 degrees caster, black spacer one below one above with 3 spacers (preload). Side shocks are HPS and IRS with 30wt oil, Gold on left, Blue on right (AE springs), Center Shock 40wt oil, Losi ball cup (lg) Black spring. Use the Darkside shock mount in 4th hole and IRS tall ball studs on outside to raise shock angle. Axle carriers are Kimbrough offset. Tweak is set 11.75 to 12.3 ounces on left rear.
For the X Black motor is run a 1.98 to 2.01 rollout 30-32 tooth pinion, and the CO27 2.05 to 2.12 34-36 sometimes a 37 pinion with a 116 spur. Tried other spur sizes but for me the 116 was ideal.
With the body you may need to adjust some on the other settings.
Right now for tires I've changed to BSR LF - White, RF - Gray, LR Pearl, RR-White. Pink and Purple setup has been more ideal to Modified racing - the grip tends to change at least when I've tried them in stock or 19 turn racing - they tend to start with very little grip and have too much grip near the end.
