Just wondering if ROAR is going to voice its opinion now that more lipos are being released, and the sub-c cells seem to be the ones that are exploding more recently, not the li-pos.

FroBoy 10-29-2007, 07:13 PM Sensorless motors are legal for roar modified competition. Have been for a while now. Rule 8.7.5.1.. 420 Tech R/C 10-29-2007, 08:21 PM sorry swtour 10-29-2007, 09:37 PM wow, nothing like changing the entire theme of the thread after the fact... Currently ROAR only recognizes Brushless as a MODIFIED CLASS (Sad), they have a price cap, a min. required number of motors to be built, and IF you use sensored motors..you MUST have the sensor wires hooked up. These are on the ROAR '07 rules at Roarracing.com section 8.4 I believe. They also require ALL Motors be of the WYE (Y) type wind, NO DELTA WINDS are legal from what I've read. (Which means ALL legal winds will have the .5 ie: 10.5, 3.5, etc.) FroBoy 10-29-2007, 11:49 PM The ex com meeting was this weekend if I'm not mistaken, so we may see something new pretty soon. You never know. Dawn Sanchez 10-30-2007, 01:13 PM Due to the fires in California, the Excom meeting was postponed..... we are working on several topics via email and a planned tele-conference. :) vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
