View Full Version : Question about Corgi Juniors G_G 10-28-2007, 11:15 AM What are the differences between Rocket, Whizzwheels, and Growlers? Thanks! G_G 11-04-2007, 10:40 AM Anyone? Superbird77 11-04-2007, 12:29 PM I'm sorry I don't have any answers for you as I'm very unfamiliar with Corgi toys. But while browsing around I discovered this little marvel: http://www.geocities.jp/agedeor/gimmick/gimmick10.html It's a presentation of Corgi's "working" parts on their die-casts, such as steerable wheels, Bond's gimmicks, working windshield wipers and even working TVs! Just click on a car above and a flash presentation will appear below. Writings on a buttons are in Japanese I think, but with some clicking around you can reveal each car's secrets. Some of them are really amazing, I especially like working wipers on Mercedes Pullman and TV screen on Lincoln Continental but there are many more. Great stuff!  G_G 11-06-2007, 01:13 AM Tomaz, thanks for the link. A lot of fun pictures and cool models there. matchboxtom 11-08-2007, 08:03 PM Rockets had detachable bases, WhizzWheelz are their answer to Hot Wheels and Growlers have a mechanism to make noise as they are pushed around. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
