This Vette came from the HW Nats in Dearborn Michigan this past summer.
Red with Red interior!!!!

Oh heck Bert, for $.20 it cost you can open the vette up and roll it around the table. :p Maybe even give Ozmont some competition in the downhill vintage class...I know, I know...Darn gnomes are doing it again..:freak: .


I do like the Red Vette with Red interior. Nice finds Bert :thumbsup:

20c :freak: were they really so cheap 40 years ago when Lesneys were 49c going upto 59c??? Very lovely blisters, thanks for sharing -cars dont come better than red/red IMHO :)

.20 cents was a lot back then. Being a paperboy in the late 60's, a daily paper was .10 cents... A pack of 5 baseball cards w/ gum was .05 cents.... A Reese's peanutbutter cup was .05 cents,,,,

and a 10oz. CocaCola in a glass bottle was 10 cents. My best friend and I would ride our Stingray's the mile and a half to his grandfather's sporting goods & hobby store to buy Matchbox cars and when they came out, Hot Wheels, and later on HO slot cars.
