Great new thread. Oz you told me to give you a call about th truck rear bodyshock tower whens a good timeto call I just want to get everything together for my new nastruck and want to see what could be comming from TEAM RIP I hope a 1/12 lol, I won't stop hounding ya till I get one.

wow u try it with all them cuts?wide solid too right? i like the 2 not sure on the one behind the servo.

Don't forget...it's 3mm and the carpet LOVES it! It has the same torsional characteristics as my slider. C'mon!

I wouldn't recommend this mod for the average Joe, but I've ran cuts in "other" cars for a few years now. The Undertaker is a great car as is, I was just looking for a more aggressive car for the faster classes and I got it! It really looked awesome through the corners last night in 10.5...even on a green track.

how did u do out for the first time with the car?

A little over 1 second off of T.P.'s open 19T record. This record stands for some reason with the short track config. Like I said...the track was very green - I'm still about 1.5 laps off of my best Pro-stock run with my slider from last year so I am very pleased with this new car.

Everything was SOFT...

10.5 :

Red front Barrel springs
4# center spring with ORC super soft T-Plate (50wt. #2 piston)
11# RR, 9# LR (30 wt.)
Centered T-plate (to the chassis) Offset NARROWED POD.
Rear track width = 8.023" (4) .020" shims in both L and R sides
Battery all the way back and out, Bud's Bi-level wing with upper level removed

straight up .o63 bies t plate all 3 screws in t plate.
pod offset .040 spacing behind spur gear .080 on left side.
side shocks 30 wt losi oil with blue assoc.left side spring and assoc. gold right side 4th hole down on the tower.
60 wt losi oil in the center shock with #1 piston and assoc brown buggy spring 2nd hole from top.
front end-
both arms are in short position right front bottom hole left in middle hole
the new caster block with left front caster at+1 degree right front laid back 4 degrees
wolfe long king pins and green springs.190 spacing on top of left kingpin .150 on the right.
protoform thd body with a wing on it. battery tray is.225 forward.
1.5 irs rear ride heights and .100 spacing under front end.

narrow slider, battery tray same place as narrow solid, side shocks 4th hole down, center shock 2nd hole down, 60 wt all way around, 11lb side, 6lb center, center shock extended all the way to front, t offset, pod offset, 1/2 degree rear steer, 80 thous shim right rear, 30thous left rear sanded pod heavily, assoc side shocks, hpi center, #2 piston, rec in front batt speedo lrp tc behind batt, 3 degreeleft front 4 degree rght front caster on long, green standard left red on right front little droop same both sides, chassis cut on right side every other slot down the chassis, tm grey right rear,g4 left rear g6 right front black left front shimmed out 60 thous tad of toe out, intrepid body this is for 13.5 on small tracks i run left front slid up 20 thous also i only run 075 assoc fiberglass center screw in on high bite tracks out on low hope this helps ( flat carpet oval setup)

this setup is a bit different but a rocket in the corners lol

they are all good cars.depends on your pref. and drive style.some people like the slider some the solid.

Just got back from Fulton's Raceway in Wheeling WV glad to say RIP's finished 2 & 3, I let my friend Mike drive my wide slider he was leading the first half of the race and we got together a min later hid radio batteries went dead I got 2 and it looked like I was going to real in the leader but ran out of time not bad for my first night out with a new car the narrow solid, would like to give a bid thanks to Dusty Dean.
