This is a SuperScooper in action in SoCal on the fires. he's so close to the ground that it appears from this angle he touches the tops of the trees. Can anyone tell me the appropriate AC-DC song for the pilot?

Exactly. You can really only mess up once on that approach.

I think that is the Esperanza fire. We borrowed two of those from Canada, at $36M each they're huge and expensive to operate. Maybe "The Arnold" will buy us our own for next year.

LA area, I think those were being used closer to Castic, near Six Flags. Other video's show them taking water from Castic Lake a few miles away. 2600 gallons at a time, and they can fly for up to 4 hours at a time doing that.

You gotta have HUGE brass ones to do that job.

Hats off to all who have been working tirelessly to put out the fires.

Yes they are Canadian, and as a canuck happy to see the Canadians ponying up some equipment to helpt the neighbours, I am still abit sore about not giving the US the 300 State of the art Pirahnas (Yanks call then Strykers) To send to the gulf.. And no doubt a crazy Canuck piliot snow woods you know what happens..lol...

I think you need steel ones to pull that one off, brass just falls a little short. rr
