I AM CURRENTLY RUNNING IN A STOCK CLASS 27TURN MOTOR AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT MODS YOU CAN MAKE AND STILL KEEP IT AS A STOCK MOTOR. LIKE CAN YOU CHANGE THE BUSHINGS TO BEARINGS AND IF NOT WHAT CAN YOU DO TO GET A LITTLE MORE HP. THANKS

brushes, springs, cutting the comm, align the brush hoods, polishing the armature shaft where it rides in the bushings...breaking in the bushings really well ... find a copy of "Big Jim's" Black Book and ready it very well...and you'll learn a few things too.

If it's still there...almost all the stuff in Big Jim's book are in this thread...

Step 1: Call/email EA Motorsports
Step 2: Send the motors to him
Step 3: Get the motors back in the mail
Step 4: Put it in the car and wheel the hell out of it!!

Or...

There is nothing to building a stock motor. Dont get caught up in the cheating, or modifing thing. Just keep the comm clean/cut, add some new F brushes every week or 2 and "dip" the thing after every run, and you will be good to go.
