View Full Version : AW 1/32 cars mrwillysgasser 10-22-2007, 07:06 AM Bottem right three cars all 1/32 slots . http://photos.hobbytalk.com/data/616/medium/10-19-07_1056.jpg roadrner 10-22-2007, 10:37 AM Great pic Kevin. Looks like a couple of MOPARS and a Firebird. Any timeline as to when these will be showing up? :) Dave rodstrguy 10-22-2007, 11:21 AM Any other info on these??? motorcitytoyz 10-22-2007, 04:31 PM Auto World's 1:32 slot cars are still in the prototype stage but they are working hard to get them to market sometime next year. These cars will have VERY DETAILED undercarriage - like 1:18 die cast cars and detailed interiors with drivers. So far, not sure what motor or gears will be used as I was not able to get a look at the motor but I have been asked to send a few 1:32 scale slot cars to them for some ideas. Price point has not yet been determined either but i would think that somewhere between $30 - $40 retail for regular issue and if they do something in a kit form with upgrades (like cox, revell and K&B did in the 60's) them they would be a bit more. The first three cars will be road racing cars but there are others in the works.....more info as it becomes available will be on my site. cagee 10-22-2007, 09:26 PM Very interested in seeing these when they come out. motorcitytoyz 10-23-2007, 02:03 AM Very interested in seeing these when they come out. For more images of the 1:32 AW slot cars, check out my photo album from the show.... http://photos.hobbytalk.com/showgallery.php?cat=617 fgf60 10-23-2007, 04:10 AM We got to hold them and will do a compleate story on the later http://slotcarnews.blogspot.com/2007/10/autoworld-new-132-transams.html#links Try these photos... roadrner 10-23-2007, 09:59 AM Any info regarding sets or are they just doing cars that will fit today's 1/32 sets that are available? rr rodstrguy 10-23-2007, 10:43 AM AW, if you want to get a jump on the competition, do a '55 and '57 Chevy Bel Air. Nobody makes either that I know of. If it is hot as an H.O. car, it's going to be great as a 1/32 car. Other companies already have great GT cars out, go where they are not. '60's muscle cars and stock cars would be great. Maybe a kit with a Parma controller and the option of street/stocker version in one kit??? noddaz 11-01-2007, 09:13 AM Bring them on with a good weighted chassis... No traction magnets....:p After all... Real race cars slide... Scott Ragnar 11-01-2007, 10:04 PM The prototype bodies look good. I will be looking for their release! Cheers!
