Great pic Kevin. Looks like a couple of MOPARS and a Firebird. Any timeline as to when these will be showing up? :) Dave

Auto World's 1:32 slot cars are still in the prototype stage but they are working hard to get them to market sometime next year. These cars will have VERY DETAILED undercarriage - like 1:18 die cast cars and detailed interiors with drivers. So far, not sure what motor or gears will be used as I was not able to get a look at the motor but I have been asked to send a few 1:32 scale slot cars to them for some ideas. Price point has not yet been determined either but i would think that somewhere between $30 - $40 retail for regular issue and if they do something in a kit form with upgrades (like cox, revell and K&B did in the 60's) them they would be a bit more. The first three cars will be road racing cars but there are others in the works.....more info as it becomes available will be on my site.

Any info regarding sets or are they just doing cars that will fit today's 1/32 sets that are available? rr

AW, if you want to get a jump on the competition, do a '55 and '57 Chevy Bel Air. Nobody makes either that I know of. If it is hot as an H.O. car, it's going to be great as a 1/32 car. Other companies already have great GT cars out, go where they are not. '60's muscle cars and stock cars would be great. Maybe a kit with a Parma controller and the option of street/stocker version in one kit???

Bring them on with a good weighted chassis...
No traction magnets....:p
After all... Real race cars slide...
