I was at the I-Hobby expo in Chicago today . Motormax was there with some of their stuff on display . The new Chrysler Town & Country wagon was there in 1/64 & 1/24 scale .. it looks awesome !! Also had 1/64 Granada , Reliant & Omni there . They said these should be out in Jan '08 .. The rest of their display was current items . I asked if the 1/24 Comet & 1/87 Bobcat may be done in 1/64 , & was told not at this time ... Oh well ....

Too bad the Comet and Bobcat won't be done in 1/64 scale. I would rather have seen these than the Omni and Reliant. Wonder if they will ever do a Mercury Monarch, since it is close to the Granada?

That is wonderful news, finally one of the most wished cars in 1/64 for Fresh cherries, The Ford Granada, will be launched. :woohoo:
Is great to hear also the launch of the Dodge Omni, and I Imagine that the Plymouth reliant must be a slightly modified Dodge Aries that was already launch.

PICS PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I can't WAIT for the Granada!
I'm old enough to remember that car, and I was so in love with its design--in spite of its boxiness.

was there any new stuff for 1/87

Motormax did have the '56 Ford pickup in 1/87. This one is not listed on their web site. Dark blue and light blue were on display. I was able to buy the light blue one. Pretty nice casting although the vent window is filled and painted silver.

Mark-I don't recall seeing anything regarding the dioramas but I was distracted by the AG Boss Mustang that I haven't found in retail stores and the 1/87 Pickup.

I agree. A monthly Motormax update would be great with what to expect. I've collected 1/87 for a while and it is absolutely fantastic that there is more focus now on 1/87 vehicles, especially at the current quality and price level.

1/87th '56 Ford pickup? That come in a Wild Cherries case? I've yet to see one. I've had a heck of a time finding the Mustang and Hornet, only two Wal-marts anywhere near me carry them, one hasn't put anything new out in months, the other got some and I got the last two Mustangs. I had to get the Hornet from a train show vendor.

Cool back in 1976 1977 I used to drive a Ford Granada in Drivers education in High school. Has anyone heard whether or not they going to release anymore AMC Gremlins in new colors this coming year? Doug Phillips

Now all they need is a 89 dodge daytona shelby.

I had a 1988 Horizon 2.2 5-speed that was pretty quick. Not a turbo but still could outrun a good number of 4-bangers back in the day.

I keep holding out hope for MotorMax and the Fresh Cherries line but here in western WA they don't seem to move fast enough for anyone to get fresh stock - I'm still waiting to see the Gremlin-X!

I'm still waiting for the Ford Maverick and Honda Accord in HO scale; the "Coming Soon" on the website is getting old and it's starting to look like there is a problem. Coming Soon should mean exactly that, not a wait of 6 months or more.

A monthly update would be something that we would appreciate and if there are delays in a product launch, tell us!

Hear Hear.. I love 1/87 FC models, and I too am wondering where the 1/87 Honda Accord and 1/87 Ford Maverick are in the release schedule for Fresh Cherries. :(

Any news??
