craftymore 10-18-2007, 11:10 AM Go to jail!
Do not pass go.
Do not collect $200.
Go Directly To Jail!
ClearHooter 10-18-2007, 01:58 PM Cool. That is one heck of a diorama you have there.
But in reality what happens is the thief goes to jail for 5 to 10 and gets out in 2 due to prison overcrowding and good behavior. Within a week he's back on crack and robbing McDonalds and Hardees again. Also Tim broke the thief's right index finger in the scuffle. From prison a law suit is started against Tim by the thief because he can no longer squeeze the trigger of his gun as easy. The ACLU provides the thief an attourney for free. But the thief loses the case. The insuing cost of court (Tim had to hire an attourney out of his own pocket) breaks Tim. Since Tim does own property...Well at least the bank does. He can't get unemployment because he was self employed. He can't get medical or mental help as he suffers from PTSD due to the robbery and losing his business. Losing it he buys a hand gun with his last $150.00. He hunts down his advisary and shoots him coming out of a Burger King he has just robbed. He doesn't kill him and the guy sues him again. But Tim is put in prison for 10 -20 for attempted murder and serves the full term. The thief is out again in a year.
Sorry...I'm so cynical. I lost quiet a bit of faith in our ledgislative and judicial system.
dusrusg 10-18-2007, 02:46 PM Clearhooter -- I'm glad you don't have any diorama pics to go with your story....
Stangfreak 10-18-2007, 03:39 PM What ya speak is pretty much the truth now days...
True stories:
1. A man climbs on an elderly lady's roof and attempts to break into her house. He falls through a sky~light and breaks his back in the fall. He sues her and wins a $600,000.00 pay off...
2. A young man working at a Burger King to help pay for his collage, is on break and out back. He sees a robbery just commited and the police chasing the robber. The robber is headed his way, so he throws a football style block into the robber to slow him up. The police capture the robber and he sues the collage student for over $750,000.00 and wins. Plus, the student is fined and sentenced to 6 months in jail for assult...
What kind of drugs are these judges on ?
ClearHooter 10-18-2007, 04:29 PM Don't want to highjack the thread cause you got some hellofagood diorama work. But in ansewr to your question. The drug I believe is called "ACLUbleedingheartpoliticalcorrectness." Taken with respect it is good for the system. In excess it totally destroys the truth. :dude:
Ricky2400 10-18-2007, 09:08 PM May I make a correction.....
Crime DOESN'T pay....not "don't pay".
