It appears that this item is only available in the Australian market. Does anyone know why? Any word on the possibility of a US release? :confused:

be careful.

We found issues when using these connected to a vintage unit for four lane racing. Two new units was fine.

Montoya, so two new units can be used to monitor 4 lanes? Does that require any type of separation between the sides of the two track sections? Or can the sections remain butted together side-by-side? (have never seen these in person)

Most people cut a chunk out of the opposing piece of track so that they can still be placed side by side. You also need a mono lead of course to connect the units. There is a little socket on the units for this purpose.

I wonder, has anyone ever got the timers to work with a light bridge?

I have two of the ones sold about 10 years ago thru Scale Auto (they were originally a Japanese market only item). I have been very happy with them and they do work with T-jets but not otehr non-mag brands of cars.
