Great weekend of racing to kick off the 2008 BRL BSR Brushless Oval Tour. It amazing what John, Roger and the Tri-State Hobbies Crew were able to do in such a short amount of time. Racers in the Midwest truly have another great facility to race out.

Just want to thank the racers for the awesome turn-out 102 entries from 15 different states to kick off the season. :woohoo:

I was really excited to see 19 drivers in the new Hobby Talk 17.5 Sportsman Stock Division, the racing was close and speed were about perfect at .4 per lap slower than the 13.5 classes.

The Protoform 13.5 Masters Truck Division was a blast to watch and the buzz around the pit area. These things look cool on track and the racing was some of the most fun to watch all weekend. Sounds like we will see a lot more truckers in Detroit.

Awesome race once again. Congrats to all the winners and TQs. Some of the TQs didn't win. Congrats to Nick Sackett on his great run to get the lucky dog ride into the A-main in 17.5.

Very nice job on a great facility that John, Roger, Joe and the crew did.

See you all at Vinton.

was a great show sonny, good to meet ya too, jw and i will try to do at least 2 more of your races. really liked how smooth it ran, you do a great job keeping things moving right on time, that was the biggest race ive ever been to and the smoothest running one too !!

the funniest part of my weekend, was you busting the track owner for trying to run his car on the track when it was closed to check the repairs he did on his car !!!!

thanks again and will see ya in detroit !!

This was an unreal race. Huge props to Sonny for running everything in a smooth timely fashion. John Foister and the whole crew made this place awesome to race at. I have to give them a huge thanks. I am still telling people about the tire station.
It was nice to see a large turnout out at the first BRL event.
Next time I think Sonny needs to race as well........

Thanks for all the props on the tire truing station guys. It helps get over my not so stellar performance. It was, however, nice to watch the mains, some great racing by everyone.

I'd like to thank all the BRL racers for making the trip to our new track. I hope you had as good a time as I did. It's been a lot of late hours but all the kind words this past weekend gave me renewed energy.

I also want to thank Sonny for having trust when he gave us the race (just an empty building at that time) and for running an awesome show as always.

Most of all I have to thank the special friends we have for their countless hours of help getting the track ready. Joe, Monti, Eli, BigMike, Clay, Butters, Sean, etc. (sorry if I left your name out) you guys deserve an applause.
