Just got back from the BRL race. The LE guys ran well. They TQed 3 of the 4 classes and won 2 of the 4.

In the 17.5 class Chad Humble Tqed and won the dash, In the main he was leading and had the entire field a lap down when he got caught up in a wreck knocking his speedcontrol loose and causing him to drop out.

Next in the 13.5 class Jamie Hanson Tqed and won the dash. In the main he got out to a good start and looked to be sure winner, but also got involved in a crash knocking a E clip off on his kingpin sidelining him. Chad Humble also the made the A. in this class as well, he got off to a ruff start putting him a lap down early, he bounced back to a forth place finish. During his drive back through the field he was posting the quickest lap times and was the fastest car on the track.

In the 13.5 truck class Dusty Kemp Tqed, won the dash and at the buzzer took the lead and never looked back in the main.

Last in the 10.5 class Jamie Hanson gained the lead a few laps into the race and slowly eased away for the win.

A great job by all of the LE racers. It was good to see everyone again.

Now we just need to get Chad and Jamie to post up some setup info for us slower guys. hehe As for me this weekend, lets just say the car was faster than I was. Still had a good time though.

There was some comments being spread around on Sunday that the reason I did so bad was because you where not there. Please fully understand this is not true. I believe the problem came from across the table from me. I had this young man tell me he was right behind Jamie so I copied his setup. Yes his name was also Jason. The setup went something like do this and eat, then do that and eat some more, move this lets eat, Dave it is your fault lets eat, I am buying with Dave's money lets eat.

Yes it was a great time and the Leading edge car was great.

Jamie was right next to me! But I think he was holding out on me. Everytime I ask to look at his car it was way to simple to go that fast! I am sticking with the problem was all the food conversation going on across the table.

it has great corner speed
and turns in and comes off the coner fast

i know of guys who run off set
but
i ran mine centered with no rear steer
and was fast.

Im in norther Cali pretty much Mavrick contry but my son and I are LE guys. we have old lightings and Edeges and are getting faster with them every time we race. I'd like to get the hangman for the carpet season. we can count out my LHS cause they know nothing about oval racing.

what's different about the hangman too the other leading edge car??

newer is always better, right ?? lotsa neat little improvments, more room in the lr for a brushless speedo, bigger cut outs between the front end, holes in the center for more flex. t plate mount bolt adjustment holes, and the standoffs are spread out wider for less flex of the side shocks. it made a pretty good debut at the brl race in cinci !!

What pod plates are you guys running? Is there any trouble getting gears on the car?

That was like Area 51 last night- Banger was testing LF spindles on the inner walls in the main trying to get under me- they failed... :cry:
