Allright Spec Drivers. Lets get things moving. We have a few out of towners coming in to run the Spec Class for the WINTERBLAST. As of today we have 9 drivers on the list. And I've heard of a few more poss to join. And from my understanding the Spec batteries are hard to get ahold of. I know Trinity is SOLD OUT! I was told on Monday i bought the last 6, But I've yet to recieve them. I normally get orders from Tirnity Next day. They are looking into the problem as i type. If i dont get that order, that leaves us with One battery available in CT.

Are the motors actually handed out, or do we use our own motor as long as it's the purple endbell chrome can motor? I should probably run 17.5, but I'm kinda afraid to with my KSK skateboard.

You run your own Purple end bell chrome can motor WITH F-BRUSHES. We do have plenty of brushes for sale in the store as well as a good selection of motors for $15.00, Used/some more than others. Comms all in good condition.

We need to get together with all of our regular Spec drivers in the coming weeks. We've learned alot of things in Florida at the Snowbirds. We feel it's time to revamp the Spec class at Turn 4 R/C Speedway for next racing season.

Allright guys lets get ready. We have to date 11 drivers signed up for SK Spec at the Winterblast. I have a personal goal to get 23 more drivers to attend the winterblast as of today we have 77 drivers, you do the math. Lets hit the big mark for attendance.

DONT be afraid with that car TRUST me, that car is more than capable of doing 52 4 flat and probably into the 53's now. Record is 54 laps with 17.5bl 4cell 4600's

the fastest I could get my KSK skateboard years ago was a 52 4:00 before I made the switch to a tplate car. Believe me when I say this YOU ARE FINE.

I second that Ken. I was a skateboard guy for awhile. Theres alot of help That I received and still do to this day. The KSKT team if full of racers that are willing to help. And Ken K is always there for anyone who has any of his products new or old. He strives on customer satisfaction. I would not hesitate. Plus there will people like myself with T plates that are off their game. Its been awhile for me on the banks.

Sorry Ken Yes and always with out question. In facted before i was Running in the Sk class I was running a sedan and you were helping me out.

OK Spec Drivers. We have another WinterBlast Prize. It's a LIL differant. We have a sponsor for this class that has not givin there name. They are offering Free Winterblast entry to any spec racer from the state of Maine That finishes in the top 3 of there Main event. If in the event there is one driver in ea main(a,b,c). the prize would got the driver in the higher Main. Only one Prize.

Too bad there weren't more at Winterblast, but Andrew had a lot of fun racing in it anyway. I had a good time wheeling my SK for the first time ever in practice on Friday too(or was it Saturday by then?). Can't wait to get this car out to my home track for battle tomorrow night.

Well I'm sure as some can expect, This class as we know it, Is DEAD! due to the current change in technology there will be a new class developed to help attract new racers and have a place for retired racers to start again. There will be a new thread soon.

What a shame,had a lot of fun in this class.All good things come to an end they say.Theres a few of us that enjoyed this class,but I guess that bunch went their own way to other hobbys that dont change rules by the hour --almost ,and still cant get them right LOL !!!!!!!! :beatdeadhorse: luv useinn this symbol.Its appropriate.

Come on guys,theres has to be somebody out there that must have some intrest in the Spec SK class in Southern New England.They have a class up in Maine for the Spec SKs that combine the 17.5 BL motor with 1 cell Lipo battery racing in the same class with the Trinty 21T brushed motor with a 1600 Trinity 4 cell pack.In this class your not dealing with the speedo of the week costs etc.Its kinda low key with close racing.Batteries and motors are still available.
The class up in Maine doesn't require you to only run a Spec type chassis either,all chassis's are welcome.Spec tires are required. Thanx for looking. Sandy.

wow turn4 was big. my apoligy and condolences . We have a real good rug but when I see an empty store front or quiet warehouse I think where is the drivers stand go and out there a dirt oval or somthing to draw the 10,000

Im very pleased to say there is a new RC Carpet Track in Vernon Connecticut that will be racing an SK Spec class just like the Sk Spec class they had at Turn 4.The name of the track is --FAST & FUN RC RACEWAY.Great looking Flat Track.:thumbsup:(as far as flat tracks go !!!!!!!!).
