Two weeks togo till the 2nd race of our four race summer series. July 13th.

Well Turn 4 rc proprietor's,are you puttinn in for a cool Sunday 7/13/08 for the race??????LOL.Tryinn to find a liquid cooled Purple end bell,but there kinda hard to find.(guess i could build one ).Im gettinn everythinn in order on the #83,that thing in not takeinn any prisoners in this conflict,its gonna exterminate all the off brand competition in this class!!!!!!!!.Pretty staunch comment huh???,guess it will all be said and done on the results on Turn 4 web Sunday night. Thats all there is to say.

OFF brand? LOL yea ok maybe I should take one of MY spec cars and go play on sunday,,,,willing to bet this off brand would win.

I will be coming up shortly with my LHT only car and just bought a SK that Ken Kerttula was selling.

"I have one of my used/new KSK SOLID Spec SK cars with a true spec front end, This car will come as a complete roller including a NEW futaba s3004 servo, a full set of trued BSR foam tires in great condition, a used body BUT there are lots of new parts on this car including the front and rear end, batt boxes, bearings, screws. Used parts are rear motor pods,chassis and body."

I have to make some changes to roll better and looking for help. I don't know if I should change the front end or not. It has the spec front end is a 1 piece front end. I think of installing a AE Dynamic Strut Pro Front End instead. Your thoughts?

What motors are you running? 27 turn? 19 turn?

Tires?

Any and all help would be grateful.

rick I would def upgrade the front end at a place like turn4 front end is KEY!!! at that place. before I send the car I can build it to that track if your interested, springs etc..
If you plan to run there spec class they have motor and battery rules, chassis can be mine or the off brand (haha) I was dying to use that. My chassis can be ran in both spec and pro class and is very competitive. Tires you cant go wrong with whites in the back, rf blue and a black left front, I would even try the tires i have on the car now which is very close to the ones I suggested.

For the SK spec class, rules are spec tires, Trinity purple end bell 27T motor & 4 cell spec pack batteries & either RKR/KSK solid chassis or the Beefy Excalibur spec chassis.

For the stock SK class, Ken's tire combo above works great. Any 27T or 17.5 BL motor, any KSKT/RKR, RSE or Beefy chassis or the new DRC warrior chassis. Other SK chassis must be approved by the race director before the start of the race. 4 cell batts up to 4600's.

I had a couple new drivers last night interested in this class. Wait till we get the Mass location finished I'll be starting a whole new spec class for that track.

Well,by the looks of things it gonna be a "SHOOT OUT" for the last point series race in SK Spec. in Sept. !!!!!!.There's five racers that are numericaly in the target zone.Just four points seperate them,could be anybodys win.Best of luck to all the racers.( Kuzz your gonna need it !!!!!!! LOL.)

Looking for your thoughts spec racers. As you know this Sunday is our final points series race for the Summer Series. Right now we have 2 ties(1st & 2nd) We're looking for your opinion for tie breaker. We want to make sure it's fair if at the end of the day we still have a tie. Chime in I'm looking to hear from everyone (This means you Al and Cliff).

What racer or racers showed the most? Meaning did anyone of them run every race? if so reward the one who showed the most. If I was to race again I think I would do spec racing JUST TO HAVE FUN!!!

ok tie-breaker. IF we end up with a tie at the end of racing Sunday. I will look at past results, the racer that has finished best each points race gets the higher spot. EX: Racer 1 finished 6th 3races and racer 2 finished 2nd twice and 4th once, racer 2 gets the higher spot. Make since? See you Sunday.
