That's for sure a huge Congrats goes out to keith. It was a good season keith. Keith came to Turn 4 as a new racer to the hobby early in the season. We hooked him up with used RKR RTR SK kit that was in the consingment case and he was on rails from the get go. Keith has come fit right in at TURN 4 as a new racer. I heard some talk about maybe moving up to a bit faster class along with a fellow racer. We'll see what plans come out after the SIZZLER. MAY 18th

Refine that remark so I and everybody else will know what or who is being referred to.

its an inside joke, initals are to cover the inapropriate words, just trying to make a little fun of a freind, something we often do to laugh, nothing to do with you.

Hi Spec racers of Turn 4. I'm calling out to you guys to see what you would like to see be improved at Turn 4 R/C Speedway. Let us know what you may like to see differant for next racing season. I was thinking of changing the motor we use and going to the Trinity Street Spec motor That would be your own motors. Let me know what you guys think of for next season.

I've checked with Olivia, As she is now in charge of the spec class. She says we're running PINK Batteries, with the new Tamiya Hot Pink motor(your own motor), with F-brushes. and MANDATORY PINK BODIES! other than that things remain the same.......What do you think?

Tranny Car Man.
05-27-2008, 09:15 PM
That fits me to a T!!!!!!!!!.I'll be there. If thats the case, can I use my pink stripe spec tires??????.I think Olivia's got some great ideas.

On the serious side to answer your question, Disregard most of what i posted earlier. SK SPEC Will remain the same as this past season. EXCEPT the motors. You are allowed to run your own motor this coming season, Starting during the summer points season. But the motor has to be the Trinity Purple end bell motor(same as our handouts) the motors HAVE to be run with F-BRUSHES. Same batteries, same tires, Same bodies. We will have our handout motors for sale with a fresh cut to the comm and a new set of f-brushes(not installed) I will post later with the price for the motors once I've done the proper research for you. Any ?'s fire away....

Yes, drilling and/or slotting of brushes will now be allowed in the spec class...as long as it is an F-Brush and Purple End Bell Motor.

The Purple End Bell Motors we used as hand-outs for last season's spec class are now available for sale - $15 (or $17 with new F-brushes).

Good race today Mike and Kim.Theres no happy medium in temps at the track, this winter everyone complained how cold it was!!!!.But today was a big temp differentail.I think my electronics and myself like the winter series more.Kwik-e had a bumpy day gettinn the little gremlins out of his new ride.Im sure he will be the man to deal with at the end of this series.I had a glitch today also, but I think I can rectify that little problem. Were all gonna have to be up on the wheel when Keith gets that ride dialed in. #83 Excaliber SK.
