Glad you got your battery issues resolved Sandy. Good to see you on the driver's stand. It was TOUGH out there to say the least yesterday. I give you guys a lot of credit! We needed to throw a few more black flags in that race I think...

It was a fun day all around. The spec class is looking great. Team Saunders is putting down some serious lappage! Sandy you looked great too. It was fun watching you guys. The 13.5 class was fun yesterday too.

Mike, I'd like to get up there, but I have to be out of there no later than 4:30, I have a family thing Sunday night...

It would be close. Starting at 1pm, each round starts on the hour from there. That has the mains starting at 4pm. I can set it up so the specs run first. You'll be done by 4:10, That's if you have corner marshal the next race. Which I'm sure we could get you a fill in for that. Hope you can make it.

Well racers,lets show up at Turn 4 Sunday and support Mike and Kim.Yah cant ask for a better day to be inside away from the the Frigid weather outside.The Spec SK class is growing every weekend and the racing is going to be closer week by week.I would like to see all you guys on the list show up and we'll "GET IT ON".

Looks like SK Spec class is the biggest class at Turn 4 again...now that all the pan car drivers are getting their cars ready for the 'Birds.

Ah yes, Fun was had today in the spec class. We had 10 entries with two heats. And I(mike) got to get out there and play. Not that i did any better than usual, But i had FUN. Thanks to all that came out to run with us today at TURN 4.

We could easily add another two heats....I just got a call today from a gentlemen from Walts Hobbies in NY asking about the spec class. There hoping to plan a trip in the near furure for the spec class.

Ok Spec Racers at Turn Four,lets get up there tommorow and get some good close racing in.I was at Turn 4 today testing and had a couple of potential great racers practiceing,pretty impressive young wheel men driving their Sks,Mike& Kim, I think if this new group continues to grow it would be great if they could compete against each other in maybe a JR.group???? at their discretion.The way its been growing,with out a doubt SK spec. will be the biggest class compared to any class anywhere!!!!!!!!.

I was at Turn 4 yesterday with my 10 year old son. Thanks for the complement. We rented a car to try and it did bring back some memories... Anyone remember the GEARS club at Fox Run Mall in Glastonbury? Those days were a BLAST! The auto shows, the parking lot racing in the summer and carpet racing in the winter! When I started we had resistors with a wiper and BUSHINGS....

At this point we are seriously thinking about returning to the sport, in the Spec class. I would appriciate any advice on what car, electronics, equipment you can offer. What worked, what didn't. I like the spec class because the rules are intended to keep the costs low.

If anyone has any used equipment for sale let me know!!!!

hi hugo, i was the one there yesterday with my son practicing for s/k spec. the kskt solid chassis in my opinion is the one you want. i believe mike has one in stock but if he does'nt you can ask him about ordering one.the kskt line of products has the best customer service out there and lots of wins at big events also. you can check out their site at www.kskts.com ken is the guy that runs kskts but right now he is at the snowbird nationals in florida and will be back in around 10 days or so.any questions just shoot one on here and i'll try and get you an answer asap. clayton jennings

We have made it to Sunny Florida! The resort we're staying at with my mother is right across the street from the Raddison. We'll be having the Turn 4 room set-up at the Radison come tuesday morning.

Thanks for the comments. I will try to make it up to another race at Turn 4 sometime soon, probably on the 10th of Feb? Not sure if there is enough interest from my son. I will lay low for a little while and see if he brings it up.

Sandy, What are you talking about? Didnt you TQ two weeks in a row? And that amain finish this past week was the best and closest I've ever seen. Not too mention a new personal best for you, Which you beet that from earlier in the day. I'm sure you'll be right inthe battle for the top spot in points after this weeks race.

Spec cars at Turn 4 Run with Brushed Motors(handouts) and spec four cell packs.

The other Sk classes on the other hand.....

Sk 13.5 Brushless 4 cell
SK Brushed 27T Stock 4 cell
Are our other two classes that are offered every week. As for any 6 cell, There hasnt been any 6cell racing for a few years now, Everything is 4 cell, 4600 Mah. Hope this helps answer your questions

Wow that spec class is doing well. This is a great place for SK spec racing. Anyone wanting to run 13.5 needs to get down there for the best banked track action anywhere.
