Michael kwik 10-11-2007, 06:39 PM was hot as haites here for october. but it dropped 40 degress in 24 hours. some real nice thunderstorms and finally some rain. but still 10 inches below normal. can't fish, ponds still covered with the summer scum. can watch the chase i guess. tex 10-14-2007, 01:40 PM still hot in texas kwik 10-14-2007, 02:43 PM cooled off here. got down to 37 last night. leaves are falling now. good race last night. if your a gordan fan. good ending either way. didn't know with the gas situation if he'd runout or not. looks like he might've played it up, to fool the others. had plenty for the burnout...... i can't believe newmans luck. gotten so i always think of "newman" off seinfeld now it's so bad. DiecastKrazy 10-14-2007, 05:16 PM Yeah that ticked me off ... i mean here newman gets the LEAD and then he just wrecks his car !!!!!!!!! My2ndscrn 10-14-2007, 10:10 PM Cool @ night... Michael kwik 10-16-2007, 05:23 PM was warm here, and getting hot. strange for october. no rain at all. it's dry as dust. we are way in a drought. ollies got in 2005 winners circle. stewart poweraide and a earnhardt. couple others. not much discount. $3.99. but, i don't buy them, so didn't care. DiecastKrazy 10-16-2007, 08:41 PM OK i went to Kmart today ( going back tommorow ) cuz they got in the ADULT beer sponsored NASCAR diecasts . I think MA set this price JasonZ 10-16-2007, 09:49 PM Hot and then cold suddenly in one day here in Houston Texas. Bad weather. Its hot when I have to walk home then its freakishly cold when we have PE outside. Temp changes messes up my clarinet and I mess up my auditions.... kwik 10-17-2007, 07:19 PM harvest time here. a warmmmm october day. 18 degrees above normal. hit 82. feels eary. it's usually cool and breezy. but the nights are warmer than the days should be cold. with the soybeans and corn being cut, and the warm air, the dust is laying heavy. maybe 84 thurs. not complaining. heating oil will be expensive. lucky for wood. now the inhabitants of the corn field, like mice, head for the hills, or your house. they need a new home to avoid the owls and hawks with the warm air. once saw a hawk dive down and grab a squirrel right in the back yard. pretty wild. diecast. money is tight. i basically just look now. 7 bucks for a car that won't bring you a dollar when you get tired of it and want to sell it. no can do. got to much of it now. thru some out today actually. couldn't sell it, and got tired of looking at the box. funny, this thread doesn't belong. but it may be the best thread i've ever seen on any site. thanks to all participating. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
