The South-West Tour Oval Series heads to the HIGH BANKED Velodrome in the San Fernando Valley this Saturday for the 8th of 10 ponts races this season...

I'm hearing that some of the West Coast Heavy Hitters will be on hand again, including this summers **ALLSTAR-SHOOTOUT** (http://www.allstar-shootout.com) WINNER Eric Brust, Gary Hamilton, Erik Steenhoven, points leader Scot Petitclerc, Keith Brown, Richard Tompkins and MORE.

I'm hoping we'll see over 50 racers take to the concrete bicycle track where we'll be showcasing the NEW Lipo 17.5 class in it's first VELODROME run.

Thanks.....I agree on the photo page, I don't add photos very often (most of the time I don't have a photographer these days) but that is something I'm hoping to be able to do more with in '08, along with MORE Videos.

Brett Patti's run was a NEW Track Record (I believe all of the top 4 broke the old record)

...not only was the new 17.5 class INCREDIBLE, but in the NASTRUCK Class (which currently runs 3800's and 10.5 motors) the speeds just keep getting faster and faster too.

Congrats to JOHN MILES for shattering the TRUCK Track Record and taking the A main win.

Brad Muther had set the pace early, also breaking the old record. However, John stepped up the program big time when he knocked the record down by a full lap.

Former NASCAR Winston West Series Champion SEAN WOODSIDE would set the pace in the STOCK Class taking the TQ spot, but WOODSIDE would find the wall while leading handing the win to everybodies favorite racing UNCLE ... UNCLE BUCK Van Patten.

Modified would belong to the FASTEST and the QUICKEST driver in the RC WORLD. Nic Case running his all so familiar Flourecent Orange cars would set the track a blazin running 9 second laps. Scot Petitclerc was also blistering fast, but Petitclerc would have issues with the car going out of control after ripping off a couple fast laps. Other drivers where finding themselves in the same situation...they could drop the hammer and make 2-3 ULTRA FAST Laps, then the cars would just break loose and spin to the infield.
