I have this in my car with a 4300 motor and it feels like there is a rev limiter on it. I don't know if something setup wrong or what, but ifI hold wide open it cuts in and out, at 3/4 throttle it holds steady, has anyone else felt this. did I mess something up setting up the speedo?

Check the wires on the motor make sure you got the right wires on the right motor tab.
2 of the settings do have a rev limiter of sorts, I don't remember what ones but you should grab your book or go to Novak's site and look it up there, it will have what you need.

If I remember correctly the rev limiter is set too high to effect a 4300 motor, it only slowed the 5800.

If I remember correctly, setting 5 and 6 maxed rpm at 24000, with 4200 rpm per volt on the 10.5, 4 cell doen't seem like a problem. Did those setting also have aceleration limits?
simkins, good thing you know all this stuff!!! You running the whole BRL deal or just select events? I never do the math on things like that but that is interesting. I don't know if it limited the accelration also or not. Never used it.

Select events, but should be enough to be in it for the points. That is the goal at least.
Sounds good, hope to actually met you at one this year....last years impression was a good one though from what I heard/remember....
