This is model #1 made by Brooklin. It's an old Brookln model over 30 years old.

If I can find pictures that I took of the 1:1 Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow in a Car Museum I'll add pics to the thread. It's one of the three existing 1933 Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow in the world, and had a "For Sale" price of $1,450,000.

It was a very advanced design in 1933. Checkout the way the doors open.

Is it at the world renowed Nethercutt meuseam?
This car knocks me out in 1/1 form. Great model too.
Don't you have another silver Pierce with a camper?
I'd like to see that one again if you have it handy.

The one that I saw was a the Imperial Palace Car Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada Dave.

Here's the 1936 Pierce-Arrow with Pierce-Arrow trailer that was made for the Brooklin 25th Anniversary 1974-1999. I have a dark blue version of the car too. I like this one better though.

Yep - that's the one.
Very handsome cars.
That trailer to me is exteemly good looking as well. What brand does it depict in 1/1?
Does Brooklin ever re-release their models? Love to find it.

Dave, the travel trailer in 1:1 was made by Pierce-Arrow. I actually stumbled across a travel trailer DVD that was in a 4 pack DVD set with the Pierce-Arrow travel trailer in the video. It was the same style trailer in the Brooklin 25th Anniversary set, and was made for the very wealthy. The other DVD's were "The Kings of Customizing" (George Barris, Boyd Cottington, etc.), a '55-'57 DVD, and Custom Car Shows across the country.

I've never known Brooklin to re-release a model once it has been retired.

I always liked the Pierce-Arrow ornament.

That's about as dramatic as a car can get!
And styling wize like you say for 1933, it's way ahead of it's time.
Thanks for the linc, I'll check it out now.

A joy only the rich would know about bear. ;)

I read where Pierce-Arrow was in business from 1900-1938. The ironic thing is that Pierce-Arrow made a total of 1938 automobiles from 1900-1938!

Very nice Stutz, those are some awesome models.
I love that travel trailer. I'd like to see that combo in 1/64!

Cool model. I saw one of the 1:1s in the San Diego car museum in the early 1990's. It's still futuristic looking. Thx 4 the pics.

I built this model kit as a kid. It is Virgil Exner's update of the Silver Arrow for 1966, in the Renwal Revivals series. He certainly had a knack for blending older styling details into modern cars. I like this one even better than his Imperials, all of which I really love. If I were a multi-millionaire I would have one of these built in 1:1 as my daily driver.

Thanks for posting the pic of the model BluntFronts. You sure can learn alot when other people share their knowledge and pics!

I'm assuming that's a spare tire on the front fender.
