I mostly race indoor carpet oval and really enjoy it but have always wanted to give dirt oval a try. Something about being able to slide a car around the turns and race side by side gets to me. What are some of the better cars for dirt oval? Any dirt oval tracks in Virginia or at least fairly close? Thanks!

I'm sure you'll get bombarded by pesonal favorites from everyone but for a kit that comes with almost everything and is raceable out of the box for the most part. Custom Works is the only complete car(except tires)out there.
You didn't mention which class you're interested in but if the track you're thinking about trying DO at has a touring car based latemodel class? Bingo! There's your easiest class to get started with. Old TC3's can be picked up cheap, A correct sized body from McAlister or Factory works and you are in like Flynn my friend.

T4 the only DO is up in central PA around the Harrisburg area. I run up at Newville, lots of trucks. There are no 4wd tc classes in the area Everything in the summer is nitro, some electric at Staub's near Gettysburg PA. Go to dirtoval.com for more DO info.
