Big Changes at Bump-N-Jumps!!!!!!! Fall \ Winter season

Indoor track Pit Space

• Triple the Pit space we had before!!!!! separate from track area
• Pit space is heated

With these changes the pit area should be very comfortable. No longer will you need to Pit in an area with dust and nitro fumes from the track. We will provide a PC monitor and PA speaker to see and hear current race stats. With the track being separate from the pits, this should provide a spacious comfortable environment able to hold heat and a lot of people. This should also appeal to the electric racers knowing that they can pit in a "nitro fume free" area….. There will still be room for people to watch the race as well as a "pit lane" for refuels and quick fixes in the track area. With these changes I'm sure this season will be more enjoyable for all……

Fall/Winter Race Season

We will continue to run the outdoor track as long as weather permits. The indoor track is ready for use at any given moment and can be used at any time the weather is not favorable. Our race program will be moved from Sundays to Saturdays starting October 13th. This will be our first Fall race. This Race will be a money race with a $20 dollar entry fee. This race will be held outdoors if weather permits. If you have any questions please visit the Bumps-N-Jumps website or post your questions here on this thread…….

October 13th Race Program

Bumps-N-Jumps Money Race Saturday October 13th.

•Gates open at 10am

•Race starts at 1pm

•Registration fee is $20 ($10 dollars to the house. $10 dollars to the pot) Bumps-N-Jumps will be adding $200.00 to the pot also.

•There will be 3 heats and then the mains

•Payouts will be a “winner take all” for each class (so if you win your class you take the cash.)
We are only running 1/8 Truggy and Buggy classes for this weekend.

•You must qualify for the “A” main to win money. If you do not make the “A” you will receive $10 dollars back from your $20 dollars entry fee.

Let me say this again….. YOU MUST QUALIFY FOR THE “A” MAIN TO WIN MONEY……IF YOU DO NOT MAKE THE “A” YOU WILL RECEIVE $10 DOLLARS BACK FROM YOUR $20 DOLLAR ENTRY FEE…..

Example: There is a 6 car limit, no bump ups for the “A” main. All drivers who qualify for the “A” main would have a chance of winning $60 dollars + the $100 from B-N-J, so that’s a total of $160 for each winner of each class! For the drivers that did not make the “A” main, they will receive $10 dollars back from their $20 dollar entry fee, and will run in the lower mains. So if you do not make the "A" you will not run for money. All drivers who do not qualify for the "A" main will recieve $10 dollars back......

Note: please bring two $10 dollar bills so making change will be easier on us…..

Please ask questions if you have any..... Hope to see all the local drivers out this weekend for a fun day of racing!!!!!!!

What's your electric schedule looking like? You going to be offering a mod/open 1/10 scale buggy class?

Sounds pretty good...Where's the heated pits going to be? Does the indoor track have a new layout?

We are all ways open to run electric's with are race program (except for this weekend Oct. 13th) this is a special race for 1/8th buggy and truggy. I hope the electric turnout is strong this year because of the new pit area....

There is a empty room between the indoor RC track and the indoor Dirtbike track that can be heated. There is an overhead gas radiant heater running across the cieling that can be used on cold days. Some of you may have walked through the area before to get to the consession stand up front.

For the track layout, we plan to use the old pit space to enlarge the track.

That should be pretty cool...It'll help to be more fun on cold days. Now all I need is to get my junk back together and find a motor...

Thats for this race, we will structure different money races in future.
Main reason for this type of payout is to make sure the winner takes a nice chunk of change home. If our entries are more consistent for the fall season then we would do something else for the payout's. With medina's season comming to an end..... Show your support and come out and race. Anyways, you have a strong chance of winning......your a really good driver.... so come on out and try your luck.....

Yes, we run nitro indoors!!!!!! The new track will have a larger foot print(old track 90x55)... We are still running outdoors for the moment though. We have a new pit area also that is separate from the track. So those of you that would like to keep warm on a cold day and stay out of the nitro fumes and dust, will have a nice place to pit.

Maybe in between the mains we can run 2 electric class mains. 1 Buggy and 1 Stadium Truck. Give the b-main guys a chance to get ready for the a-main. How does that sound?

Steve and I just got done preping the outdoor track.... We are ready to "rock"!!!!!!! Hope to have a good turnout...... Remember the pot is starting off at $100 dollars for the "A" main Truggy winner and a $100 dollars for the "A" main buggy winner, so the more entries we have the bigger the pot so come on out......

I stopped down last Saturday to watch some racing. I just relocated from Minnesota and was quite impressed with the outdoor track. I have an xb8 and was thinking about getting the truck. Was someone driving the xray truck last weekend. If it was the xray that truck looked super fast. How did you end up doing and what are your thoughts on the truck?

We started ripping up the old indoor track this week, and we are preparing the surface for the new layout. We listened to everyone's input last saturday and came up with something that most people should be happy with. We are addressing some key concerns that some of the racers had, like the jumps along the walls and making more elevation changes and not having a "point and shoot" type of layout. I will post pics as soon as it ready, so watch for new info.........
