Figured we’d have a little fun here and have a contest. (and I got the idea from another thread).



The contest is:

Guess how many entries there will be in the 17.5 Sportsman Stock class at the BRL Novak National Finals held April 4 -6.


Prize:

I will refund to the winner of the contest the cost of one entry to any BRL 2007/2008 season race that you attended.



Rules:

1) The winner will be the person that guesses closest to the actual number of entries.

2) Contest open to any HobbyTalk members in good standing that also attended any BRL race throughout the 2007/2008 BRL season. (this does not include "warm up" races but actual BRL events)

3) You must post your guess as a reply to this thread no later then January 31, 2008.

4) In case of a tie, the person that posted their answer first will be the winner.

Once I receive an official entry count from the BRL I will determine the winner and will contact the winner via email using your email address on record here at HobbyTalk. Make sure your email address is current. You must contact back within 7 days with information on what race you attended, how much the entry fee was and with payment information so I can send you a check or I can pay via PayPal.

I think I have covered all of the bases here. This contest is just to have some fun and to do something a little different. I do reserve the right to change the rules if it appears that I missed something in the rules.

I'm hoping this becomes a very popular class in the BRL.

Having run the 17.5 now w/ 4 cell about 1/2 dozen times...it's been fun.

If we weren't pushing for our series to go to the LIPOs so hard...I'd be LOVING this class. (The 17.5's on LIPO is our fastest growing class, so having another use for this motor ie: 4 cell/ 17.5 was great news to me...as it give more reasons for NOVAK to make the motor...and I've been working on TOURING guys to give this little motor a try too)

I'm glad I picked a high number - although seeing the turnout for the first race at 20, I may still be TOO LOW.

We had 20 in the 17.5 class this weekend too at our VELODROME race - but ours were running on the LIPO pack. (INSANE Closeness on the track)

I hope we get to see lap results from the BRL race...I'd love to see how close those guys were w/ the 4 cell setups.
