what is the biggest pinion i can get on the gen 2 with a 120 spur and a 13.5 BL motor? is there any other way that i can get bigger than a 45 on it without going down in spur size?

Kimbrough offset ride height adjusters part #kim180 stormer hobbies had some left. They used to be real popular with the old 10L cars to fit bigger gears on them.I run a smaller spur myself though. MZ

I run the offsets with a 120 spur on my gen1 and can get a 50 pinion on no problem

you need to go down on your spur to get it right. you won't get it geared right for any oval over 130 ft runline!

120/50 with 2.20 tires = not enough, go down to atleast a 108

thanks for the help guys, i would go down in spur size brian but it just doesnt have the zip that it does with a 120, the last option would be a 116 but i may try the rear carriers, i run a 108 with a 10.5 and its balistic but it doesnt work so good on a 13.5

I RUN A 108 ON MY GEN 2 CAR AND IT IS PLENTY FAST I HAVE SETA COUPLE TRACK RECORDS WITH IT AT OUR LOCAL TRACK!!! YOU JUST GOTTA FREE IT UP AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!!! IT WILL WORK GOOD :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
YOU HAVE TO GO SMALLER WITH THE 13.5 TO GET THE HIGHER ROLLOUTS THAT YOU NEED TO RUN WE HAVE A 140' RUNLINE AND ROLLOUT AT 2.80
