nutz.. I won an Ebay auction on Sept 5th and paid for it on Sept 12th...
But have not received the item. I have sent 4 emails to the seller and have received 2 responses.

no I just have to check I was in the hospital and my kids did all the mailing ill check sorry for the delay.

I see that I have 45 days to report this problem to PayPal.
(Didn't it used to be 30 days? Whatever...)

nice that you used paypal, if he does not have a shipping confirmation number they will refund you. I had it happen twice, got my money back both times, relatively quick too.

Maybe the seller is sick, he was in the hospital, right? ... if that's the case... you should be more than happy to lose your money.

The seller may have some friends here that will get all over you for even mentioning your situation.

It's amazing how many eBay sellers are victims of some family tragedy/crisis/illness that prevents them from updating you on the status of your purchase or actually sending you the item -but that same family tragedy/crisis/illness doesn't affect their ability to collect your PayPal payment in the least!!!

Come on Jim, Lets not beat that horse anymore please? a few guys offered to pay you 3 months ago and you bring it up every chance you get. A lot of us Know Bruce and new he was and is still very ill. Yes a lot of ebayers make lame excuses thats why paypal is handy buyer always wins no fuss no bother.. if 23 bucks was killing you so bad.. bottle caps is a much cheaper hobby..lol (Maybe not can't remember last time I saw a actual bottle cap). I think you got off easy the last time your threatened one guys to Come to New York and got zip. Dan and I got 5 days for the same thing.. Your infatuation of picking on a dying man amazes and make me ashamed to a slot head...

and there's NO difference between Noddaz's situation and mine... except the reponse to it. I just wanted to point out the hypocrisy of some of you here.

This wasn't about the money... it was about all the crap I was put through clearing up HIS mistake and then the even bigger pile of crap I had to endure for just mentioning my situation... (BTW, this is only the third time I've mentioned Bruce in close to 7 months, a far cry from "every chance you get")

And on a final note, Bruce did refund my money, yesterday... so I send Gary's money back to him.

His wife wrote me yesterday, She said she felt bad about what went down with Bruce and me, so do I... but I will never apologize for respectfully bringing up my siutation, nor will I forget the hostility of some of you for doing so. I was just giving Noddaz fair warning as his situation and mine are identical... although I get the feeling some of the hypocrites here won't see it that way.

I actually have lost money to ebey sellers that were supposedly sick or have died, and in both cases my feeling is that, as long as I'm not being lied to they or their families can use the money more than I can, so I am still happy with the out come. If they were lieing to me I will probably never know, so I am still happy.
