Anyone have any luck getting either ultimate racer or laptimer to work via a usb/serial com port adapter? I have gotten both programs to work with the photo sensors on my desktop computer using the printer port. However I wold like to use my laptop (which only has usb) for the track...it would be a real pain to haul the desktop up to the track everytime!

If you're discussing Laptimer 2000 from Greg Braun, I would suggest emailing him and asking him about this (if nobody else has an answer). I did when I encountered some software issues and he replied with the solution.
