Dear coach_61,

I shut down all the e-mails Bruce had because some people were giving him a hard time like some jerk fro Germany over a $7 chassis. He is band from the computer till he's better. I am not losing my husband over stupid slot cars and some of the few werid people he has dealt with on ebay and the net . I can not anawer all that wrote so if you can pass this on . thanks, Jeannie

Well here is the latest from the mouth of Bruce himself.Bruce and I have been friends for over 10 years.Danny Esposito and myself packed his u-haul truck for his move from NJ/PA area to Oregon.Boy was that truck over weight. The molds and material are some heavy stuff. It was to bad he had to go but sometimes it's for the best.Bruce called me at midnight last night. He said he appreciated people's concern about his health. He said he is doing alot better and feeling better every day. Here is the bad news.He said more than likely he will not be coming back to the hobby. He got into all different area's that just seem to cause him to much stress.I've known a lot of resin casters over the years and I say this with complete admiration and respect for their talent. They are all a little weird, and i'm glad they are.I guess it's the artist in them.I wish I was as lucky as them to be so talented,to be able to create. So he told me to thank everyone for their past and present support, but he won't be coming back in the near future.
Thanks

CRAP -- That sucks. But I am glad he is feeling better. The couple e-mails we sent back and forth he seemed to be a pretty good guy as far as I was concerned.

Thanks for the update. I wish the best for Bruce's health regardless of his decision regarding returning to our toy cars.

Good to know that he is recovering, I know we all wish him a swift recovery and long life. Someone that live close to Bruce, should when he is better, go and set down with him and pick his brains about his time with TYCO. Got to be a lot of rich history there. Also I would love some insight into his techniques for making such great resin cars. This information would be invaluable to the future HO Slot Car hobbiest.

Glad to hear Bruce is doing well & recovering.Sorry to hear that he has been excessively aggravated by people who could only think of their little toy cars arriving in time.I had the pleasure to deal with Bruce on bnbgoodies/eBay & if there was a problem he always came through.A real "mensch" in a hobby with one too many "schmucks".The trouble comes I think when it becomes too much of a business & less of a hobby.Business & jobs in general can be aggravating but a hobby is supposed to always be a pleasure.
My Father was in the sailboat hobby & unfortunately he died of a heart attack at age 45 because he allowed it to become more aggravation than it was worth. It never is.Life is to be enjoyed.
I wish Bruce all the best & if bnbgoodies has bitten the dust, well, "thats just awful", but life goes on.

just my 2 cents worth,
