I was playing around and set up this new display today. Mostly Matchbox but a few Hot Wheel vintage and newer pre production models too. Enjoy.

Very cool, did you make those resin castings? I've been wanting to learn how to do that!

Jim did not make those resin castings.............Those were used by Matchbox to make the castings of the models being pre produced.

No,

Resin castings are all documented pre pros. Beware now, most of what you see today are fakes. Check the seller out and be sure you know where thay came from. Matchbox NEVER made red, yellow, green, blue or other silly color resins.

Jim,
Does the chevy van for Hendricks Motorsports have chrome wheels? If not what makes it a pro pro? Also it seems like when I was at your house in 2004 that you had a KW Cabover Racing Transporter pre pro and I don't see that in your case?

The Hendris Motosports Van does have chrome wheels. These pics are just a small portion of my pre pros. I still have the cases you saw as they were. I just bought my 3000th pre pro last week. I look forward to getting it.

Tom,

You are the one people come to the Gathering to check out the pre pros for. You should put a few of your pics here as well. Some of the best arount you have.

Fantastic collection of pre-pros. Thank you for sharing - would love to see more.

On a related note, I am looking for resins, test shots, etc. for Ford Shelby Cobra Roadster Concept by either MB (on the left) or HW (middle) or HW GR-1 (right):

I was a member of the engineering team that built these cars, and it would be very dear to have some extra special pieces in my collection.

Can anyone recommend some leads for tracking down?
