I got this a while back from my father who went to Italy in the '70s'. No make or year on the base, it only says "Made in Italy". Can anyone give me any information on this one?

BTW, I just tried out a new photo technique. Like it?

I believe it's a Fiat Ritmo/Abarth 2000. I have a yellow Majorette version of this vehicle.

Lookin' good!

Yes, it is Fiat Ritmo. What scale is it approx?

Try turning on the macro function on the camera, you will get sharper pictures.

Very cool! The brand is Polistil, they made quite some models of Italian cars, but I'm not sure if this company still exists at all.

What I especially like are the white lettered plate numbers on black background, and the city is in orange (I think it's Milano in this case).
These are the old Italian license plates, and they look extremely good on any older Italian car I guess. :p

Did you paint this car?
I say that because the engine compartment is blue and the body is gray.

Interesting model, the more I look at it the more I like it.
Thanks for showing it!

Thanks for all of the info, guys! Much appreciated.

I didn't paint it, original paint job. The engine compartment is the same color. It is shaded in that pic.

Polistil models are well made and are very collectible. I've seen these fetch over $50 on ebay, so you've got yourself a good deal there.
