i found a ride on lawnmower on craigslist for free it looks like if i get it running it will work fine but it had no spark. i went down to the lawnmower shop and got a electronic magneto the one on the engine was a points one anyway the guy told me how to wire it up and i completely forgot i was hoping someone can save me the embarassment and the drive and could tell me how. its a briggs and stratton electronic magneto and i think its part number 398811 it has two wires on the back. thanks.

Make sure you install the module with the correct side up, it should be marked.

The wires that come off the module go to the spark plug and kill switch.

There should be a gapping card that came with your new module that you can use to set the air gap between the laminations and the flywheel magnets
