Anyone see this new show this week?
Not bad. Kind of predictable. There are interesting areas to explore and I will give it a few more episodes to see where it goes. Of particluar interest is who is sending him on these time trips? How are those in need of help selected? What happens if you meet yourself?
Aside from the time travel rift, it shares the basic premise of Incredible Hulk, The Fugitive and others. The difference being that this guys ends up at home with his family. Also similar to Quantum Leap.

I thought it was a bit fractured in execution. I will give it a few weeks though. I am hoping that some of these shows are taking their time to actually tell a story and are not just pontificating.....

Smart plan with the ring / newspaper in the toolbox! At least he won't have to spend all his time trying to get people to believe him. I will continue to watch.

It was better than I expected, the pilot raised some interesting questions. The opening scene seemed to be a homage to The Terminator, our time travelling guy gets his pants, shoes, and finds out the date almost exactly like Michael Biehn did back in the eighties.

Episode 2 was - uhm... stupid.
I don't see myself watching episode 3.

the second ep did have great moments on the '70's airplane.
makes you go from "ahh, how nostalgic..." to "man that ticks me off that we can't do that anymore"

Journeyman was a fun game when it came with my PC in the mid 90's, havent decided if it may make good TV yet though...

3rd episode involves gambling so I wondered, why wouldn't he take advantage of his future knowledge and make some well placed bets and investments in the past? He has access to all of his own accounts. He could return to the future with financial security awaiting him!
I'm about done with this show.
