sOMEONE TOLD ME THAT THE RACES ARE ACTUALLY A 3 DAY EVENT. Friday night racing, saturday racing and mains on sunday. Is this true and is it at all the races this year?

some tracks have a late nite fri. practice sat. all but one of your heats are run along with practice in the morning and sun. early morn practice along with the final heat and then the mains and usually done around 3:30 4:00 and on your way home.

Last year there were no races on Friday. Some tracks allowed Friday practice.

At most of our races we offer limited practice time on Friday Night starting at 8pm. Each racer gets a maximum of two controlled rounds.

The reason we start late on Friday is to allow racers to work a full or half day and still have time to drive to the event. In helps racers limit the amount of vacation time used while not feeling at a disadvantage because others are at the track practicing all day.


If you can’t make it on Friday we have a minimum of 4 controlled practice rounds on Saturday morning plus a little open time. Racing usually does not start until after 2pm.

Sunday a quick practice round, last heat and Mains. Last year most racers were on the way home before 4pm.
