View Full Version : Grindhouse the movie "Death proof" Dragula 09-28-2007, 01:50 AM What a waste of good iron. :( Montoya1 09-28-2007, 03:30 PM Total rubbish So glad I downloaded for free but still a waste of 90 mins Crimnick 09-28-2007, 04:23 PM LOL...I was expecting to see a slot car replica... made me look... micyou03 09-28-2007, 08:30 PM I don't get it. twolff 09-28-2007, 09:55 PM I was disappointed with Grindhouse/Death Proof, but still enjoyed it. It's a nostalgia trip for those of us who used to watch the B movies before we were old enough. They really were that bad and some worse :) I expected much more, but given that the director's other recent projects were graphic gore-fest "horror" movies, I suppose expect too much. I really enjoy Pulp Fiction, Resivor Dogs, Kill Bill and other movies in the same style like Dusk to Dawn, Desprado, and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. micyou03 09-28-2007, 10:30 PM What does iron have to do with this? Montoya1 09-29-2007, 02:50 AM Well if Iron is a reference to cars, there were several iconic ones of those that got destroyed. The thing with DP, it had the Tarantino hallmarks sure but none of the intelligence of, say, Kill Bill II. I actually agree with you,not tarantino's style movie at all,he does mild action, great dialogue and wordsmith. Not an action car scene director. DRAGjet sethndaddy 09-29-2007, 07:45 AM Dusk till Dawn is my favorite all time movie. ever. 40 year old virgin and 13 ghosts rank right up there too. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
