I was inspired by someone on another board a few days ago when he asked if I did anything "unconventional". I had seen a pic of a race truck on a site (can't remember where) and while in WM last night I saw this, and said what the heck. It's not completely different as it's still a "race" vehicle, but at least it's a different type of vehicle.
I decaled it this morning, added some black wash paint to bring out the grille, and painted the two roof mount marker lights.
It's a Malibu International Volvo cab over.

This type of racing is big in Europe.

As I don't usually pay any attention to these, does anyone know if this one is done in a different color, or are there other Euro models? This was the only volvo, the rest were the sleeper type Peterbuilts or Kenworths.

That type of racing is hard not to watch ~ kinda like fat lady speed skating :p

I had several numbers but I chose 8, and it did make me think of him for a minute. I wish he was coming to Roush. I'd like to see him driving a Ford.

Very cool! I've only seen those peterbuilts, never seen any of the volvos. Nice job on the decals to! Looks awesome! And y'all are right, its addicting to watch those things race. The Unimogs are fun to watch too
