View Full Version : A trio of 1963 Corvette split window coupes
STUTZ 09-26-2007, 11:34 AM Three 1963 Corvette split window coupes made by Brooklin. The red Corvette was a limited run of 100 made for a toy show.

Thanks Steve. I haven't bought a Brooklin in 3 years. They are too expensive and no hobby store in my area carries new Brooklins anymore. There isn't much demand for 1/43 scale in my area or the USA anymore.
Thought I'd add a pic of the 1963 Corvettes when they were introduced.

Lummox 09-29-2007, 03:12 PM Even if you're not into Vettes,
You got to admit Harley Earl was THE MAN ! ! ! ! ! !
I allways loved that picture, Stutz. It's got to be the best Vette picture of all time!

You got that right about Harley Earl being "THE MAN" Lummox!
As for the picture......I think you like the sports car hat Dave! :p
MattGTO 10-13-2007, 08:48 PM Those are really nice vettes! About how long are they in centimeters? I am unfamiliar with 1/43 scale.
STUTZ 10-13-2007, 09:24 PM The 1/43 scale 1963 Corvettes made by Brooklin are about 4 1/8" long.
A Greenlight 1967 Corvette in 1/64 scale is about 2 3/4" long. Greenlight 1/64 scale diecast cars are a little longer than Johnny Lightning 1/64 scale diecast cars. I don't have a 1963-1967 Corvette made by Johnny Lightning in 1/64 scale handy to measure.
