Found this at a local antique store for $2. The package is fairly good shape too. I've got the green version also, but this one is so much nicer.

I also have this model, but I wonder if really is 1/65 scale, itīs look too small for a big car like this when you compare with others.
The innacurate in scale makes me angry...and by the way the price you paid for it is really cheap.

I agree with you hookie - the scale appears to be a *bit* off as the 1:1 version is a rather big vehicle. But it still looks good, and it makes a nice addtion to my collection.

The cheap price was totally unexpected...I figured it would be at least $10 so $2 was a great bargain.

The innacurate in scale makes me angry

 First, if this kind of thing makes you angry, then you are taking the hobby too seriously. Go outside and get some fresh air.

Second, I suspect you're wrong. Tomica is quite particular about their scale models and takes the time to determine and label the scale of every casting instead of labeling them all 1/64th like some companies.

The Surf, also known in the US as the 4 Runner was not really a big vehicle back then. It has grown now but back when that was made it was only a compact sized SUV. The size marked is probably correct.

Itīs only a way to speak, Iīm not really angry, what I mean is Iīm very observant with accuracy in scale. I collect only TRUE 1/64 and sometimes I donīt like to discover that my last purchase is 1/59 or 1/68 instead of the 1/64, but of course I agree there are bigger problems compare with this and our hobby is for our fun
