I am thinking about putting a light in the back so the rear of the sand van will glow thru. Any suggestions on the type of lamp? just a std grain of wheat bulb? or is there a need for a special?

Great idea.

How about LED lighting? Anybody got intel on what resistor value and pt #'s for some LED flamethrower conversions that may be applied like above?.

I was thinking, ok, not thinking. Planning on chopping off those retarded big silver heads and replacing them with the bronco/can am style heads.

Just won one on paybay today. I plan to 86 that stupid ass oversized top but once I get off my lazy keister and start resin casting again, Ill be making copies of that rear engine detail, and scouting a passable rollbar. Ive got 3 'real' aurora dune buggies and all look pretty empty at the rear. Im sure Im not the only one.

There not a link anymore...Bam now its a pic!

Thanks for the idea grungerockejeepe! Just got done with this one today. Not a casting but, taken off the top (not using top) sanded down and then took a small round edge file to fit it to the rear screw post via Bill Hall goop.

I need to get the engines casted, it looks a lot better with it hanging there!
